New Ladbrokes and Playtech Partnership Launches “Vegas” Gaming
Ladbrokes is one of the UK’s most prolific online gaming sites. Having started out exclusively as an online sportsbook site, Ladbrokes has slowly expanded over the years to offer their bettors a range of online casino games and video slots as well.
2013 saw this online bookmaker partner with some of the casino industry’s largest software developers, bringing a variety of slots and casino games from different companies to a single location. Net Entertainment’s partnership with Ladbrokes made big news in July of 2013, but only a few months before that, the new Ladbrokes and Playtech partnership launches “Vegas” gaming for online players at the betting site.
The Partnership between Playtech and Ladbrokes
The partnership between Ladbrokes and Playtech was confirmed in March of 2013. One of the first steps for these two companies going forward was the creation of the Vegas gaming tab on Ladbrokes’ existing casino platform. The Vegas tab contains a selection of Playtech’s slots and casino games, and this agreement covered both the Ladbrokes online casino and their mobile platform for smartphone and tablet players.
To begin with, 70 of Playtech’s most popular slots and games were chosen specifically for the UK market and added to the online site. The mobile platform received a smaller number of 30 optimised mobile casino games from the developer.
Ladbrokes’ Vegas Online Gaming Tab
After the new Ladbrokes and Playtech partnership launches “Vegas” gaming, the agreement between the two companies also meant that more of Playtech’s games would be added to the Vegas tab as time progressed.
This rollout of new casino games was staggered over the months following the creation of the tab. Ladbrokes mentioned their intention at the start of the agreement, stating that they planned to add all 400 of the games in Playtech’s portfolio to their site’s new Vegas gaming section.
The Launch of the Vegas Gaming Section
The initial launch of the Vegas gaming tab at Ladbrokes casino included games chosen specifically for the bookmaker’s mainly UK-based player pool. The Playtech slots released along with the new section included licensed titles like Monty Python’s Spamalot, Little Britain, and The Sopranos online video slot.
Classic casino games like blackjack, baccarat and roulette were also selected from Playtech’s collection to be the first casino games of theirs on Ladbrokes’ casino platform. These games joined those of several other major software developers partnered with Ladbrokes, including UK company Microgaming and Swedish developer Net Entertainment.
Playtech’s IMS Rewards Platform
The new Ladbrokes and Playtech partnership launches “Vegas” gaming along with another of Playtech’s software innovations. Playtech’s highly praised IMS platform was also added to Ladbrokes’ casino to serve as an extra rewards programme for players at the site.
The IMS platform is dedicated to maintaining all-round player satisfaction and promoting new memberships by offering extra casino rewards and promotions. These rewards are tailored specifically to the online slots and casino games that players prefer and play often, creating a customised rewards system that offers players promotions they are more likely to take advantage of.
